A landing page that sells the seat - and an app that finds the right people in the room.

October 2026 · 2.5 weeks
The film
The whole story in just over a minute - from the first brief to the guest’s short list in the room.
At a glance
For Krynica Biznes - the closed business track of Krynica Forum 2026 at the 5* Hotel Belmonte - I built the event landing page and a networking app for iPhone, Android and the web, where AI tells every guest who to meet and why.
01 - The problem
A great conference can still mean a day of the wrong conversations.
Krynica Forum is one of the biggest economic events in Poland - debates, panels and a crowd of decision makers in one small mountain town. For owners of small and mid-sized companies that is both the opportunity and the problem: the right partner is somewhere in the building, but most of the day goes to queues, small talk and a pocket full of business cards that never turn into anything.
Global Pactum set out to fix that with Krynica Biznes - a closed business track at the 5* Hotel Belmonte, sold as an upgrade to the Forum ticket. That meant two very different jobs. First, a landing page that explains in one look why this ticket is worth more, shows the agenda and the speakers and sends people to buy - with Krynica Forum’s branding front and centre. Second, a way to make sure that once guests are in the room, they actually meet the people they came for.
And a deadline that does not move: the brief arrived in mid-October, the doors opened on 27 October.
02 - The vision
Not another conference app. A short list of the right people for every guest.
Three principles drove every decision:
- One message, one action. The landing page says one thing clearly - the Forum gives you the stage and the people, Krynica Biznes adds a place to talk - and everything leads to one button. Tickets stay in the Forum’s own shop, the agenda filters in a tap, and on desktop a small ticket card follows you down the page without ever turning into a pop-up.
- A profile in five minutes, without a password. Guests join from a personal link, log in with a code from their email and fill in a short business card. AI reads their company website and suggests the answers right inside the text field - they can accept them, edit them or simply dictate their own.
- Conversations, not contacts. The evening before the event, AI pairs every guest with three to seven people worth meeting, explains why the match makes sense for both sides and suggests how to open the conversation. On the day, everyone has a number in the room, so finding the right person takes seconds - even when the hotel Wi-Fi gives up.
03 - Who it’s for
Built for four sides of the same event.
Business guests
Owners and managers of small and mid-sized companies who came to Krynica for partners, clients and suppliers - and have no time to spend on the wrong people.
VIP guests of the Forum
Invited by Krynica Forum to the Belmonte track. They join from a personal invitation link, with the place and the date already filled in for them.
The organiser
Global Pactum runs the event from an admin panel: guest accounts, personal invitations sent in one click, an access log and an anonymous report for the board once the event is over.
The partner forum
Krynica Forum drops a ready-made Krynica Biznes block into its own website - styled like the landing page and safe inside a CMS we don’t control.
04 - Technology & the challenge
One app on three platforms, built against the clock.
The landing page is a fast, lightweight site that scores 100 on mobile for accessibility, best practices and SEO. The app is written once and runs as a native app on iPhone and Android and as a web app in the browser, with a desktop layout of its own. Behind it sits a secure database where every guest sees only what they are allowed to see, and the AI matching runs only on models hosted in the European Union - guests’ business details never leave the EU.
The hard part was time. Two and a half weeks had to fit three design directions for the landing page, a redesign of the app halfway through, consents moved to the login screen at the partner’s request, store reviews on both platforms and an agenda that kept improving until the last days. The other hard part was the venue: a full hotel on event day means unreliable Wi-Fi, so the things guests need most - their list of conversations and everyone’s number in the room - keep working offline.
05 - The workflow
Invite. Profile. Match. Meet.
A guest gets a personal link, opens it on the phone and is in after one code from their email - no password to remember. A few minutes later their business card is live, with answers drafted by AI from their own company website. The evening before the event the matching runs and a notification says the recommendations are ready. On the day, every guest walks in with a short list: who to meet, why it makes sense for both sides and how to open the conversation. After the talk, a quick scan of each other’s code confirms the meeting and saves the contact - and the organiser gets an anonymous picture of how the day went.
06 - Feature highlights
Everything a guest touches, on any screen.
Each piece removes a moment where a guest could give up - from finding the ticket to finding the person.
+ Three directions before the first line of production code
The client compared three complete design directions side by side on a live preview and picked one. Then the best parts of the other two moved into it: the agenda filters from one, the ticket panel from the other.
+ A block for someone else’s website
Krynica Forum’s site runs on its own CMS. The Krynica Biznes block drops into it as it is, in two versions - with and without JavaScript - and looks like the landing page without breaking anything around it.
07 - Results
Live before the doors opened.
The landing page went live on globalpactum.com three days after the client picked the design direction. The app opened in the browser a week before the event, and the iPhone and Android versions followed in the App Store and Google Play - all from the same code.
